Inaki Williams wonder goal enough to spark a winning mentality in the Copa del win

Athletic Bilbao ran riot yesterday winning by 4 goals to nothing and the catalyst to all this was the Ghanian forward Inaki Willaims and his junior brother, it seemed it was a day for them to shine with one as the number nine and others mainly operating from the left wing.

The flanks were greatly used with every ball proving a handful for the Athletico defence who are noted for being robust.

First-half goals from brothers Inaki and Nico Williams sent Atletico Bilbao on their way to a 3-0 win — 4-0 on aggregate — over Atletico Madrid on Thursday and into the Copa del Rey final.

Bilbao led 1-0 from the first leg in Madrid and quickly doubled that when Inaki Williams was teed up by his younger brother to put them one up on the night.

Three minutes before half-time, the roles were reversed with Inaki providing the assist for Nico Williams to give the Basques a three-goal lead.

Nico Williams claimed the man of the ball for being devastating yesterday with his every ball proving deadly and uncontrollable and it seems he was possessed.

Inaki Williams represents the Ghana black stars even scoring a goal in the recently ended African Cup of Nations which host Ivory Coast won but he has not been as prolific as Ghanaians will want because judging by his statistics for the club side he has scored 9 goals already this season.

The striker was also deadly yesterday as he provided the assist for Nico Williams’s first-second goal after the same Nico Williams provided the first assist for Inaki to score.
